Recycled Craft is a community app for documenting and sharing the process of giving old things a new life. Privacy is part of how we design the product. We protect your information with access controls, encrypted transport, and the principle of least privilege.
01Information we collect
We collect information you actively provide when registering and using Recycled Craft, including your phone number, nickname, avatar, and the projects and comments you post. When you upload media through the camera or gallery, we collect only the images and videos you choose to share. We do not collect sensitive information unrelated to the upcycling community features.
02How we use information
We use your information to provide core features such as sign-in, publishing and browsing content, messaging, the token wallet, and unlock purchases. We also use it to improve recommendations and keep the community safe, including reviewing reported content. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to these services.
03Sharing & disclosure
Content you publish publicly, such as projects, your nickname, and your avatar, is visible to other users. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or when necessary to protect users and the platform, such as preventing fraud or handling reports. Service providers we rely on, including cloud storage providers, process data only as needed and under confidentiality obligations.
04Data storage & security
Your account and content data are stored on servers protected by access controls. We use authentication tokens, HTTPS encryption in transit, and the principle of least privilege to protect your data. We regularly review our safeguards, though no method of transmission over the internet is ever completely secure.
05Your rights
You can view and correct your profile under “Profile > Account” and delete projects or comments you posted. To close your account, submit a request on the “Delete Account” page. We will process it within a reasonable period and stop using your personal data, except where retention is legally required.
06Third-party services
Avatars and some display images may be served by a third-party image service using a fixed seed for stability, without personal identifiers. File upload and access rely on our object-storage provider. These providers process only the technical data required to deliver the feature and do not use it for their own profiling or advertising.
07Children's privacy
Recycled Craft is intended for adult users with full civil capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that a minor has provided personal information without guardian consent, we will delete it as soon as possible.
